You can follow the guide given below to make this recipe in your home’s kitchen easily.

  1. First of all, we will repeat the exact same step as we did in our previous article Porridge with Lyle‘s Golden Syrup.
  1. Take a saucepan, and add some milk to it. After that heat the milk in the saucepan on the stove until it starts simmering.
  1. Once the milk starts to simmer add the desired amount of wholegrain oats to the milk.
  1. Stir the milk and oats mixture continuously until it cooks properly. It may take 5-10 minutes depending upon the heat of the stove. You may cook the porridge for a little longer time if you want it to be thicker.
  1. Now we will prepare the strawberry jam. Take a saucepan and add strawberries and sugar according to the amount of strawberries.
  1. Follow the same process as above and cook the mixture until it simmers. Keep stirring the mixture for about half an hour until the strawberries are completely dissolved and form a soft mixture.
  1. Now, transfer the porridge and strawberry jam to different serving cups and bowls.
