Porridge Recipe

In this article, I’m going to share with you the recipe for the famous Milk Porridge from McDonald’s. If you live around the countryside then you should make this recipe at your home for your family or for your friends while having a get-together.

The step-by-step recipe for this porridge is given below.

  1. First of all, take a saucepan and add some British semi-skimmed milk to it. Now put the saucepan on the stove at normal flame and heat it until it simmers. Simmer is the state just before the boiling point.
  1. Once to milk starts to simmer, add the wholegrain jumbo oats to it. 
  1. Now, start stirring the oats into the milk. Stir them for at least 5-10 minutes on medium flame.
  1. After about 10 minutes once the oats have absorbed most of the milk remove the saucepan from the heat and set it aside.
  1. You can also add some additional toppings like honey, maple syrup, nuts, or any other according to your preference. Or you can make your own syrup as we already did while making the Pancakes & Sausage Syrup.
  1. Finally, add the porridge into serving cups or bowls.

Today, I’m going to share my experience with the milk porridge while eating it at McDonald’s a few days ago. After ordering the porridge from McDonald’s breakfast menu I sat on the table and started waiting for the order.

Once the order was delivered to my table I quickly tasted it. To my surprise, the taste of the porridge was much better than I expected. The combination of the semi-skimmed milk along the wholegrain jumbo oats created a perfect combo.
